Arizona is an increasingly Democratic but very gerrymandered state that needs your vote to flip the state house and senate blue. Unfortunately, redistricting has favored the Republicans again so Democrats need to work twice as hard to get their voters to fight back.
HEALTHCARE
MAGA Republicans are planning to gut Medicare and Social Security. They are criminalizing doctors helping women with miscarriages. They will reverse the $35/mo insulin and block lower drug prices. Only Democrats are protecting Affordable Healthcare and pre-existing condition coverage.

ABORTION AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS
Abortion is now banned in Arizona. Planned Parenthood and others have re-started providing abortion again but as they are defying the Attorney General, this may be temporary. The Arizona Supreme Court denied a ballot initiative to codify abortion and birth control in their constitution.
ALL REPUBLICANS RUNNING FOR OFFICE believe there should be NO abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest.
Most believe birth control should be illegal. Many have tried to scrub their websites because of the unpopularity of their extremist positions.
BIRTH CONTROL
Most Republicans in the state legislature have voted against keeping birth control legal. And, most Republicans running for office in AZ in 2022 believe birth control should be illegal. Many have tried to scrub their websites because of the unpopularity of their extremist positions.

Republican state legislators are working on legislation to overturn the will of the voters; giving THEM the power to decide the outcome of elections regardless of the vote tally.

Every single Republican US Representative voted AGAINST historic legislation to bring money and resources to Arizona. Now they tout the money in their ads. Thanks, Democrats!

- PACTS Act for Veterans hurt by toxic burn pit exposure
- CHIPS and Science Act
American Rescue Plan – $4.2 billion for Arizona for broadband, healthcare, education, COVID Relief, small business support and tourism. Not ONE Republican voted for this legislation.
Infrastructure Bill – $5 billion for Arizona to build bridges, repair highways and roads, upgrade water systems, and expand high speed internet. Not ONE Republican voted for this legislation.
Inflation Reduction Act – $4.1 billion for Arizona for caps on prescription costs ($2000 max/yr for Medicare), caps on insulin at $35/month, caps on health insurance premiums for 1.4 million Arizonan Medicare recipients and those with Affordable Care Act insurance. Also, clean power tax credits to fight Climate Change & create JOBS. Not ONE Republican voted for this legislation.
Corporations pay their fair share – Democrats made sure that corporations pay their fair share of taxes (minimum 15%). 40 of the richest companies pay nothing in income taxes. It’s time they did! Not ONE Republican voted for this legislation.
PACTS Act – Ensures veterans receive health care screenings and services related to potential toxic exposure. Expands access to VA health care. Not ONE Arizona Republican voted for this legislation.
CHIPS AND SCIENCE ACT – Ensures semiconductor chips – used in everything from cars to computers to TVs – are made in the USA, lowering costs AND MAKING AMERICA COMPETITIVE AGAIN. Not ONE Arizona Republican voted for this legislation. Instead, the Republicans voted to send jobs to communist China.
